Learning to laugh at yourself is the best step forward to growing old and having the time of your life doing it. Other than eating unprocessed foods, regular exercise and sleeping well, you can really keep your health if you learn to face the reality of control and what it is NOT. The only control we have is how we react to our life and our perspective. Remembering that we are where we are because of decisions we have made in the past makes it something of accepting who we are, and using each day to take a step closer to who we want to be.
So, with that in mind, I wanted to share a story my cousin send me in an e-mail. I read it and well, you see what you think:
I was in Dunkin Donuts recently when I suddenly realized I desperately needed to fart. The music was really, really loud so I timed my fart with the beat of the music.
After a couple of songs I started to feel better. I finished my coffee and noticed that everyone was staring at me…
And suddenly I remembered I was listening to my iPod…
and how was your day?
Enjoy today and remember to be good to yourself. Tomorrow, will be recipe day. Time to eat well and enjoy it!
